Modna kuća koja nije dugo prisutna na srpskoj modnoj sceni, ali čiji su modeli za relativno kratko vreme uspeli da osvoje srca dama nosi lako pamtljivo ime PRiK. Mlada dizajnerka, Dušica Županjac kreira odeću koja je nosiva, namenjena kako za poslovne prilike, tako i za romantične večere udvoje. Dame koje brinu da li će im garderoba stajati kao salivena, obradovaće podatak da modeli pored toga što postoje u standardnim veličinama, mogu da se sašiju prema vašoj meri. Pročitajte intervju sa dizajnerkom Dušicom  Županjac koja stoji iza modnog brenda PRiK i pogledajte modele iz njihove najnovije kolekcije.

Dušice da li nam možete reći kako ste dobili ideju za naziv brenda?

-Ideja za naziv brenda je došla spontano. Želela sam kratak naziv, ime. Da je lagano, zvučno i kratko. Jednostavno, a efektno.

Dugo ste radili za jednu srpsko-francusku firmu na polju marketinga, istraživanja tržišta, analize i razvoja brendova, pre nego što ste 2012. godine odlučili da osnujete PRiK. Otkud Vi u dizajnerskim vodama, da li ste se školovali za to?

-Kada sam odlučila da stvorim PRiK, želja mi je bila da to bude nešto inovativno. Moja vizija je bila da devojkama i ženama ponudim elegantnu, poslovnu garderobu, odličnog kvaliteta po prihvatljivim cenama. Oduvek sam imala ljubav prema modi. Mama bi imala štošta na tu temu da doda 🙂 (od mamine nove košulje sašiti haljinu za Barbiku 🙂 ). Kroz srednju školu i fakultet sam takođe često nosila svoje modele. Ideja za sopstvenom kompanijom se rodila tokom višegodišnjeg rada za srpsko-francusku firmu u području marketinga (po struci sam ekonomista sa fokusom na marketing), tako da PRiK čini spoj marketinga, preduzetništva i dizajna.

Koja je vaša ciljna grupa, s obzirom na to da imate modele koje mogu da nose i poslovne žene, ali i modele koji ističu ženstvenost?

-Ciljna grupa PRiK-a su devojke i žene svih starosnih dobi. Devojke i žene koje vole modu, praktične i nosive komade. Najčešće rade u prosveti, zdravstvu, sudstvu, opštinama, ali i na drugim radnim mestima, devojke u školi, i na fakultetu…Srećna sam jer je ciljna grupa i po godinama raznolika – to znači da imamo praktične, moderne i nosive modele.

U novembru 2015. ste prvi put učestvovali na Serbia Fashion Week-u. Kako biste opisali to iskustvo?

-Zapravo, prvi put smo na Serbia Fashion Week-u učestvovali u aprilu 2015 g. Tada smo izložili svoje proizvode u showroom-u. Poslednje večeri aprilskog SFW bila je revija iznenađenja za koju je modele birao Eymeric Francois i model PRiK-a se našao tamo. Bila sam presrećna.  Kasnije, u novembru 2015 g. smo pozvani da imamo reviju. Tom prilikom smo predstavili kolekciju za proleće/ leto 2016, pod nazivom “The woman is a lady”. Veoma sam zadovoljna reakcijama u toku, a i nakon samog događaja. Serbia Fashion Week je izuzetno ozbiljan događaj, najveći u našoj zemlji i drago mi je da smo bili deo toga. Takođe, učešće PRiK-a na SFW predstavlja izlazak PRiK-a iz virtuelnog sveta i susret sa našim klijentima. Kontakti uživo su nešto neprocenjivo. U decembru smo imali i reviju u Kraljevu, takođe odlična posećenost i ogromna zainteresovanost za naše modele.

Volite da putujete, pa da li na putovanjima pronalazite inspiraciju?

Da. Volim da putujem. Jedan od glavnih izvora inspiracije su mi upravo putovanja. Veliki gradovi, urbane sredine, mešanje kultura i brojni stilovi bude kreativnost. 

Svoj biznis zasnivate na online poslovanju. Da li imate u planu da otvorite neki izložbeni prostor?

Online poslovanjem dobijate mogućnost da pokrijete čitavu zemlju. To je velika prednost. Međutim, još jači pečat vašem brendu možete dati kroz otvaranje ateljea ili pop up store, gde će vaše mušterije dobiti kompletan utisak o brendu….Stoga u narednom periodu imamo u planu otvaranje izložbenog prostora.

Kakvi odevni komadi bi trebalo da postoje u garderoberu žene sa stilom?

-Ovo je već teško pitanje. Smatram da žene ne bi trebale slepo da prate trendove, već da kreiraju svoj stil. Stil po kome će biti upečatljive. Da budu ženstvene, da budu dame, ali i zavodnice, a nikako vulgarne u tome što nose. Smatram da ne bi trebale da preteruju sa V izrezima, niti pak sa prekratkim modelima. Stoga ukoliko eliminišemo navedeno dolazimo do toga šta bi moglo biti u garderoberu. Teksas jakne bih takođe eliminisala. Ono što volim da vidim u svom garderoberu u ovim hladnim danima su: jednobojna haljina, zanimljiv kaput, suknja, pantalone, dobre salonke, čizmice, kožne rukavice. Šešir ili šubara takođe mogu biti od koristi.

Da li biste nam dali savet kako da se obučemo za posao, a da istovremeno izgledamo i lepo i profesionalno?

-Dati globalni savet kako se obući za posao nije baš lako. Veliki broj žena ne radi u kancelariji. Dosta žena radi na terenu, stoga bi bilo suludo osobi koja šeta po gradilištu preporučiti suknju ili haljinu. Sa druge strane poslovni kod je nešto što se mora poštovati. Ukratko: Suknja ili haljina do kolena ili preko kolena ili pantalone, jednostavniji krojevi, su nešto što svakako preporučujem. Nikako previše kratko ili otvoreno. PRiK kreira modele koje možete obući za posao, ali i izaći u njima.

Kako vidite PRiK za 5 godina?

Nadam se da će PRiK pokriti ne samo Balkan, već i tržište Evropske Unije.

Serbian Fashion brand PRiK

Fashion label which is present for relatively short period of time on Serbian fashion scene, but manages to capture hearts of the ladies has name PRiK. Young designer Dušica Županjac designs clothes which is comfortable, designed for business woman but also for the romantic dinner for two. Ladies which are concerned if the apparel will fits to them, will be glad to find out that clothes can be designed besides in standard sizes, also in size of the clients. Read the interview with designer Dušica Županjac, who stays behind the fashion brand  PRiK and take a look in her latest collection.

Dušice could You reveal us how You get an idea for the  brand name?

– The idea for the brand name came spontaneous. I wanted short name which would be easy to remember. Simple, but effectively.

You worked for one Serbian-French company for a long time in the marketing department, market research, analysis and brands growth, before You decided to start Your own business in 2012. How You decided to be designer, have You educated for this calling?

-When I decided to make PRiK, my wish was to create something innovative. My vision was to offer the  women an elegant, business outfits of a good quality and by an affordable prices. I’ve always loved fashion. My mom would have all sorts of things to add on this topic 🙂 (from mom’s new shirt sewed a dress for my Barbie doll 🙂 ). During my high school and University period I used to wear quite often clothes which I made. An idea for starting my own company was born during my longtime work for the Serbian-French company in the marketing department (my profession is economist with a focus on marketing), that is why PRiK is join of a marketing, an entrepreneurship and a design.

What is Your target group, given that You have the models which could wear the business women, but also the models which are ultra feminine?

-The target group of the PRiK are girls and women of all age, who like fashion and practical, wearable clothes. They work mostly in education, a health care, judicature, municipality, but also in the other professions, girls in high school and in faculty… I’m happy because the target group is also varied by age  – that means that we have practical, modern and wearable models.

In November 2015 You took a part in Serbia Fashion Week for the first time. How You would describe that experience?

-As a matter of a fact, we participated in Serbia Fashion Week for the first time in April 2015. Then we exposed our clothes in the showroom. The last night of SFW in April, it was held surprise fashion show for which the models chose Eymeric Francois and model of  PRiK was there. I was delighted. Later, in November 2015 we were invited to have a fashion show. On that occasion we represent collection for spring/ summer 2016 called “The woman is a lady”. I am very satisfied with the reactions during the event, but also after it. Serbia Fashion Week is extremely serious event, the biggest in our country and I’m glad that we took a part in it. In the same time, a participation of the PRiK on SFW represent an exit of the PRiK-a from a virtual world and meeting with our clients. Live contacts are something priceless. In Decembre we had a fashion show in Kraljevo, which had an excellent attendance and huge interest for our models.

You like travelling. Are travels also sort of inspiration for You?

Yes. I like travelling. One of the main source of inspiration are travels. Big cities, urban environment, mixing of cultures and numerous styles arouse creativity. 

Your brand is based on online business. Do You consider opening of a showroom?

The online business gives You an opportunity to cover whole country. That is big advantage.  However, you can give an even stronger seal to your brand by opening an atelier or a pop up store, where your customers can get complete impression of your brand…. That is why we are planning to open the showroom in up coming period.

Which outfits should exist in the wardrobe of a women who have a style?

-This is a difficult question. In my opinion women shouldn’t follow the trends at any cost, but they should to create their own style. The style which will make them look impressive. To be feminine, to be lady, at the same time seductive, but no vulgar in their clothes. They shouldn’t exaggerate with V-neck, nor too short models. When we eliminate all this, we get an idea what could be in the wardrobe. I would also eliminate a denim jacket. The stuff I like to see in my closet during this cold days  are: one colour dress, an interesting coat, a skirt, a pants, a good pumps shoes, boots, the leather gloves. A hat can also be useful.

Could You give us an advise what to wear for work, to look at the same time pretty and professional?

-To give the global advise what to wear for work isn’t very easy. The great part of women don’t work in the office. Some women work outside, so it would be funny to recommend someone who walks in the site to wear a skirt or a dress. On the other hand the business code is something one should respect. In brief: a skirt or a dress knee-length or longer, or pants, simple cuts, are something which I recommend for sure. Never too short or too open. PRiK makes the clothes which You could wear for work, but  also go out in it.

Where You see PRiK for 5 years?

-I hope that PRiK will cover not only Balkan, but also the market of the European Union.
