Hi guys 👋 I hope that cooking community will forgive me for not posting recipes for longer period, but it is summertime and when sun shines in Denmark you don’t spend day at home 😁

I’ve already posted photo of this cake, but know comes with recipe. It’s great cake for summer 🌼 Danish name for the cake is Vandbakkelser, literary translation would be ‘water trays’.

Najsličnija varijanta ovog kolača kod nas su princes krofne.

You will need | Potrebno je:

•1½ dl water| vode

•75 g butter | maragarina

•100 g flour | brašna

•3 eggs | jaja

How you make it | Način pripreme:

•Warm oven on 200 degrees Celsius. Put butter in water and stir it on the stove until melts. Add flour and stir vigorously until the dough is warmed and shiny. | Zagrejte rernu na 200 stepeni. Otopite margarin u vodi na tihoj vatri. Dodajte brašno i mešajte dok se testo ne ujednači.

•Allow the mass to cool slightly, then stir in the eggs one at a time. It is important that you stir well between each egg so that the dough does not become thin. | Kad se masa malo ohladi, dodajte jedno po jedno jaje. Posle svakog jaja dobro izmešajte testo kako ne bi postalo tanko.

•Put the dough on a baking paper with 2 spoons. I got 9 pieces. In the original recipe @spisbedre they say that the water trays should be baked for 30-35 minutes, but mine was done in 20 minutes, when they were golden color. It is important that you do not open the oven until vandbakkelser became golden- then they will collapse. | Stavite testo sa 2 kašike na papir za pečenje. Ja sam dobila 9 komada. U originalnom receptu piše da treba da se peku 30-35 minuta, ali moje su bile gotove za 20 minuta, tj kad su poprimile zlatnu boju. Bitno je da ne otvarate rernu dok ne poprime zlatnu boju, jer će testo spasti.

•When they look baked, take one out and place it on a baking sheet. If it keeps its shape, they are finished, if it starts to collapse, they need a little more. | Kada izgledaju pečeno, izvadite jednu na tanjirić – ukoliko na spadne i zadrži oblik gotove su, u suprotnom im treba još malo da budu gotove.

•Cut them on half and put cream inside. I chose vanilla cream and raspberries, but you can put also ice cream and strawberries, actually whatever you like. | Presecite ih po dužini na pola i filujte kremom.Ja sam izabrala kombinaciju vanila krema i malina, ali vi ih možete filovati i sa sladoledom i jagodama ili nekom drugom omiljenom kombinacijom.
